"SUPER" Street Fighter IV

Thursday, January 7, 2010

For those who know The Cranberry Show, know that between Arcane's immature fart jokes catapulted inexorably at Young Focus. And Focus's voluminous knowledge of very useless trivia.. (like how John Wilkes Booth's brother once saved the life of Abraham Lincoln's son..IRONIC RIGHT??) We actually lead pretty calm lives that are often drummed out under the loud, quotidian beat of the video game culture. In lamens terms we're gamers. And with that said it leads me to the wonderful yet sometimes obscure world of Street Fighter. Street Fighter made its debut in the arcades of japan in 1987. It was designed by Takashi Nishiyama and Hiroshi Matsumoto to take martial arts to the gaming universe. But most of us in the good ol' US weren't introduced to Street Fighter until the launch of its sequel appropriately named Street Fighter 2 (clever right) Street Fighter 2 was released in 1991 through the once gaming giant now turned fledgling computer software distributor Capcom. Street Fighter II was the first one-on-one fighting game to give players a choice from a variety of player characters with different moves, an option which created hitherto unknown levels of depth and replay value for an arcade game. But to make a long post short Street Fighter is still going strong with its latest 2010 insertion to the series SUPER STREET FIGHTER IV..not to be confused with the regular ol' STREET FIGHTER IV. Now for those who think SSFIV is just SFIV with the word "super" added uhhhh..you might be right. IF YOU WEREN'T TO BUSY BEING SO WRONG, SSFIV has about eight new characters along with a few hidden bosses. But old nerds don't get your retainer in a bunch, the older beloved characters like ryu are still apart of this new game scheduled to be released as a standalone title in Spring 2010 (which is the same time the TCS album will drop might I add) So here is a video of the newest street fighter edition and I think the graphics and super moves are better than ever but you can decide for your self. All that's left to say is SHOOOOOOOOORYUKEN..!!!!!!!!!
